Allana was selected to play for Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but later knee injuries forced her off the field. It took several years to Allana to get back in the rugby league. Allana had her first ever union rugby game for women which was held in New South Wales and she was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana has also been a regular radio host, and is regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has also earned a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in both rugby sevens and the rugby league, in addition to touch. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' top player in rugby is forced to end her career in the league due to breaking her ACL four times. Ferguson, 25, has tore her ACL the same spot between 15-17 and 20 years old. After a fourth tear she realized that it was now the right time to end her career.
